Holiday cottages available for rent in Mouronho, a
pretty village in the Beira Alta region of Central
Portugal. The two cottages, which each accommodate
up to six people are set in a landscaped garden of
5000 sq. meters; the owners’ house is on site
and has a separate apartment for up to four people,
also for rent. The village of Mouronho is within easy
walking distance and has many amenities including
a Chemist, Post Office, Butchers and a small General
Store. There is also a Bar and a Catholic Church.
There are many beautiful walks within the area including
a 3 km trek to the River Alva, there you can find
one of the pretty river beaches used locally for bathing.
The cottage is comprised of two double bedrooms with
twin beds and a spacious lounge with a double sofa
bed and satellite TV. The cottage is fully equipped
kitchen with dishwasher and combi-microwave. The badroom
has a full size bath with shower (thermostically controlled)
toilet and bidet. The cottage have a woodburning stove
and a electric radiator. Childrens cot bed is available
upon request, please ask when making your reservation.
All linen is included and there are no charges for
cleaning after your departure. Washing machine also
available to use for a small fee.
